Sunday. Peter came with me today and filled the tank up with water from the river. We also used the pump and hosepipe to water around the plot. I dug over some ground ready for the broad beans to go in and Peter started cutting down the asparagus ferns. The runner beans are just about finished now so Peter gathered in the dried beans for re-planting.
Monday. I have a freind visiting for the afternoon so there was just time to nip down to spray the sprouts and broccoli, mend the holes in the netting and do a bit of digging.
