Peter had arranged to meet Kev this morning to finish off the fencing. We're both pretty keen to keep the vermin out. I joined them later on and I must say the've done a good job. The whole plot is now chicken-wired although some of my earlier work needs a bit of 're-wiring'.
Peter carried on trimming and tidying the hedge on the outside of the plot, and putting boards around the bottom edge of the fence to deter the rabbits. Kev and I did some more digging over. Kev has been spreading chicken manure on his corner - he keeps chickens at home so it's all free. It was much easier to dig today as there's not been much rain lately and it has begun to dry out a little. Betty enjoyed the few carrots Kev found on his plot, and I found yet more parsnips. Kev was happy to take them off me.
